Always building something.

I’m a builder. I take an idea, wire up the site, the SEO, and the content system, and see how far a small team can carry it.

Before the internet, there was the Navy — four years as an aviation electronics technician on helicopters, signing off on safety of flight. Then a decade coaching endurance athletes, back when online coaching was still a new idea.

Since 2015 Ashley and I have built and sold four niche content sites, learned WordPress inside-out, then taught ourselves Astro and Cloudflare Workers to rebuild everything faster. For the past six years we’ve lived as digital nomads across the US, Europe, and the UK — about two and a half years of it based in Germany, France, Italy, Scotland, and England — funding it on the road and building the whole time.

Today we run a portfolio of brands under Mindful Roamers LLC: outdoor wellness, running, slow travel, and the tools that feed them. Introvert, endurance runner, incurable builder. Still shipping.

Off the clock, Ashley and I volunteer web and email-marketing help to the Yavapai Trails Association — a small way to give back to the local trails we run almost every day.
